Why rent a server when you could buy it and own it?
This is in essence, what KeyInvest is about.
We have asked ourselves,
why should our customers not be able to buy rather than just rent their server?
Doesn’t it make sense to own it after a certain amount of time?
It’s not really standard practice, but we’re doing it: as long as you’ve had your leased server hosted in our data centre for the duration of 5 years and for the duration of one year in Housing we shall, upon request, send you your server for the sale price of a single Euro.

Performance Description
- In connection with ordering one of the Keymachine® Pro server you will gain unlimited ownership of the server if you have leased it from Keyweb for the duration of 5 years and then for another year in housing. You can decide to own it at the time of placing the initial order or at a later date during your contract term. At the end of the contract term we’ll sell you the Keymachine® for one Euro.
- You then have the choice of having your server send to you or of having it put under the control again at Keyweb under a colocation contract.
Condition
- the use of KeyInvest should take place at least 14 days prior to the 12-months contract period of housing coming to an end
- The delivery of the server takes place only within the Federal Republic of Germany
- The shipping costs for sending the server are paid by the recipient
- Excluded from KeyInvest are resellers and customers with special discounts
