MacOS Server are known for their high failure and operational safety. The macOS operating system is one of the safest in the world and gives you the best possible protection of your data. For our Mac servers we use the operating system macOS Mojave. MacOS Mojave with its unix-like operating system ranks as very reliable and safe. MacOS Mojave is the current operating systemstage of development and forms the ideal basis for an effective performance of the newest Mac Hardware. MacOS Mojave Server represents a OS version especially for Servers. It has been extended with different server components and is very easy to harmonize with the Apple world.

You have full root access if you hire a Mac mini by Keyweb. You decide how your Mac mini Server should be managed and configured. Thanks to the software Apple Remote Desktop, you have a fast and safe access to your data per remote maintenance function from all over the world.

Backup-Options
You can easily create backups on your hard drive with the TimeMachine. However additional storage on an external hard drive is advisable. Fortunately Keyweb is offering the KeyDisc as a cloud storage solution to protect your data. You choose time and frequency for creating backups. With KeyDisc you have access to your data from everywhere.

Protection
Another service of the Mac mini tariff contains the continuous monitoring of your servers. This monitoring service informs you in case of conspicuousness, malfunctions or failures. Furthermore the free Reboot Service is always available.

We suggest to protect your Mac mini Server additionally with an adequate SSL certificate. For example a SSL-Certificate by GlobalSign^® for safeguarding an intranet or a webserver certificate with extended validation for a full and also visible encryption of your webproject.

The minimum contract period for a Mac mini server is 12 months. With a 24-month term, you can even get up to 20% discount.
