Our Commitment

Digital accessibility is important to us. Our aim is to provide the best possible access to our online services for everyone, regardless of their individual abilities.

This declaration outlines the current accessibility status of www.keyweb.de and the measures that we are taking to improve it.

Legal Basis

The Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG) implements EU Directive 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act) in Germany. From 28 June 2025, private companies will also be required to ensure that their websites and digital products comply with the EN 301 549 standard and WCAG 2.1 at conformity level AA.

State of Accessibility

We have tested the accessibility of our website using manual and automated methods.
The results are as follows:

•  Accessibility provided: Navigation, text, images and many basic functions are easy to use, also with a keyboard and screen reader.
   
•  Room for improvement: In some cases, interactive elements such as forms, dynamic content and embedded documents still present difficulties.
   
•  Documents: Some PDF files and external content are not yet fully accessible.

Our Next Steps

We are committed to identifying and removing existing barriers. Our measures include:

• improvement of keyboard operability and focus control
• optimising contrasts and responsive design
• designing forms and interactive components to be accessible
• preparing PDF documents according to barrier-free standards

Our work is based on the requirements of WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) and the European Standard EN 301 549..
