Since the beginning of the first lockdown in spring 2020, the "Regionale Küche" has made it its task to create a platform on which artists can network in order to spread their music. The regional cuisine emerged from a small network of Thuringian bands and artists and now supports over 100 musicians from all over Germany.
From Spotify playlists to band presentations on social media to networking - a variety of measures are required to offer regional artists an appropriate “online stage”. To make a contribution to this great project, we support the "Regionale Küche" with a sponsored web hosting tariff and a .com domain for a secure and present website.
The Erfurt artist Christian Stezycki, also known under the name "Carnival Kid", initiated a "Festival to go" using the playlist series "Regionale Küche" on Spotify. Here he brings together music from different genres of bands and artists such as Volver, Musikkombinat, Magma & MBP, Futurebae, Dissy or Lightcap. Thanks to these playlists and a great community, Thuringia's musical potential can be spread. By diligently sharing the playlists of those involved and music lovers on the social media platforms, increasing reach can be achieved for each performer. If the situation allows it again, the „Regionale Küche“ would like to organize concerts with participating artists.
Especially in times when cultural offers are limited, it is important to bring the musical potential of Thuringian bands to the people in this way. But even when concerts and festivals can take place again, new regional music events are important for strengthening the cultural sector. That is why it is particularly important to us to promote a regional cultural project such as "Regionale Küche".
