KeyHelp^® 26.1 – Enhanced Spam Protection and Configurable Buttons

• New anti-spam features
  On systems running Ubuntu 24.04 or later, as well as Debian 12 or later, numerous new anti-spam features are available – both server-wide in the admin area and individually per mailbox in the client area.
  
  You can find the server-wide configuration options under 'Configuration → Email spam & virus protection'.
  
  Greylisting
  This lets you disable greylisting, which is active by default, on a server-wide basis. With greylisting, emails from unknown senders are initially rejected temporarily; legitimate mail servers automatically redeliver the message shortly afterward, whereas many spam systems do not make this second attempt.
  
  SPF whitelist
  When the option 'Reject emails failing SPF checks' is enabled, you can now maintain a list of IP addresses that are exempt from rejection. For emails sent from these servers, the SPF check is skipped.
  
  Reject emails failing DKIM checks
  Analogous to the existing SPF check, you can specify here whether emails with an invalid or missing DKIM signature are rejected.
  
  Reject emails from Google Groups mailing lists
  Malicious actors can abuse Google Groups mailing lists to send spam through them. This option lets you reject emails sent via such mailing lists.
  
  
  In the client area, additional options are available in the email management under a mailbox's 'Advanced settings' tab:
  
  Move spam to junk/spam folder
  Emails identified as spam are automatically moved to the junk folder. This feature is enabled by default for all newly created mailboxes.
  
  Email address blacklists/whitelists
  In earlier KeyHelp versions, there was only a single global black-/whitelist for email addresses. With this update, clients can maintain individual entries per email account.

• Change to the mailbox size limit
  In earlier versions, clients could create mailboxes even if the combined maximum size of all mailboxes exceeded the client's allocated storage. As of this update, the default is that the combined maximum size may no longer exceed the allocated storage. Clients can therefore no longer create mailboxes if the allocated storage is insufficient.
  
  This change is applied automatically on your server during the update.
  
  If you prefer the previous behavior, you can switch back to the former system under 'Configuration → Email server → Ignore cumulative mailbox size limit'.

• Custom buttons (Pro version)
  From now on, you can place additional buttons in KeyHelp that link to your external pages or tools. In addition, you can specify whether user profile data is appended to the link target as parameters.
  
  The buttons can be inserted into the main navigation of both the admin and client areas, as well as into deeper views such as system status or configuration.
  
  This feature is available on systems with KeyHelp Pro under 'Configuration → Custom buttons'.

• Quick access for the file manager
  The file manager has gained a new feature for quickly opening frequently used folders. Regularly accessed directories can conveniently be saved in the quick access menu and opened directly at any time. Especially with deeply nested directories, this eliminates the cumbersome navigation to the desired folder.
  
  You will find this feature in the user area under 'File manager → Button: Bookmarks'.

• New API feature for retrieving and unbanning banned IP addresses
  The KeyHelp API has been extended with a new endpoint that lists the IP addresses banned by Fail2Ban, along with the jails responsible for the ban. If needed, banned addresses can be unbanned selectively.
